Check-ins

A check-in is just a weekly opportunity to score some points and ensure that you are keeping up with the course content. The requirements vary from week to week, but may involve responding to a survey, taking a brief online quiz, or participating in a discussion. They are due by midnight on the designated day.

   • If you didn’t already, respond to the Incoming survey about your background and interests.

   • Ensure you have an account on the LIU gitlab server. If you used this server previously, your account there is probably still good. You can reset its password if needed. If you register, you must initially use your LIU email address.

   • Request access to the cs164s18 group on LIU gitlab.

   • Once you have access, post a comment to the “Hello world” issue in the cs164pub repository.

2. Sun Feb 11 +25

   • Follow the rest of the instructions in the software setup, including creating a project and adding me as a developer. Make sure you have an SSH key and can do a successful git push from your project directory. You’ll need this for Milestone 1.
